Neuriva Reviews: Is Neuriva Original the brain supplement for you?

This is our Neuriva review, a nootropic product that is manufactured by Schiff Vitamins. It’s an incredibly popular nootropic on the market which has generated a myriad of opinions.

In our reviews, we look closer at this brain performance supplement‘s ingredients and the facts to see how effective it really is. So what is Neuriva claimed to do?

Some are claiming that Neuriva can help improve:

  • Brain Function and Cognitive Function
  • Enhance Brain Performance, Focus, Memory, Learning Accuracy
  • General Brain Support Supplement
  • Regenerate and Maintain Brain Cells and their Health

There’s even the Neuriva Brain Gym app which comes with each product purchase, which claims to take you through a brain fitness routine to keep your mind sharp.

In this review, we look at the ingredients of Neuriva, especially at their ‘hero ingredient’ of whole coffee fruit (coffee cherry). As well as an overall view of how it can support brain health, if it’s a good product to use, as well as numerous other questions people ask us about this product.

How to take The Neuriva Supplement

Neuriva is recommended to be taken once a day before bed for the best results. However, we have some minor concerns about this that we’ll cover later – mainly due to the fact that one of the main ingredients are coffee.

We’ll cover these concerns later on.

Neuriva Ingredients

Neuriva Ingredients

  • Coffee Fruit: 100 mg
  • Phosphatidylserine: 100mg

As you can see, there are only two ingredients in this brain supplement. This is a lot less than what you usually see in most other nootropic products. Some of the ingredients are backed by many clinical studies like the Phosphatidylserine, whereas the Coffee only has one main study. Unlike most mainstream nootropics, there is no ginkgo biloba in this nootropic.

If you go for the ‘Plus’ version of Neuriva, there are a few more ingredients in it; Vitamin B6, B9 and B12. It adds a few benefits to the health angles of this product – but it’s still not as good as some of the other nootropic reviews I’ve done.

However, the Phosphatidylserine is still a nice touch to this supplement.

Coffee Fruit Extract (Coffea Arabica) – 100 mg

Whole fruit Coffee Fruit Extract (also known as Fruit of the Coffee, and NeuroFactor “the hero ingredient”) is a really interesting choice for the ingredients – it’s not the type of ingredient that you usually see in a nootropic.

Neuriva’s Coffee Fruit extract is claimed to promote Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor.

What is BDNF? Brain-Derived Neurotropic Factor is a protein which has links to promoting brain cells growth, regeneration, development and more. Getting more of this protein can help promote overall neuron health and fights degeneration and degradation of new neurons.

Having strong levels of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) is clearly important – but is the Coffee Fruit Extract in Neuriva enough to delivery this?

I don’t think so. Mainly due to the main study out there for Coffee Fruit promoting a 140% boost Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) involves Coffee Fruit concentrate – not the extract.

As this does not replicate what is in the Coffee Fruit study – it may not have the the same effects like the WCFC which is responsible for the Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) boost.

There needs to be a lot more research done into Coffee Fruit extract and how it affects the levels of BDNF before we can commit to is as an effect nootropic aid.

Phosphatidylserine – 100 mg

This however, is a much a better option in Neuriva. Phosphatidylserine is a fatty substance that is very important to your brain health.

It is in huge amounts in your brain which helps with you brain’s structures, regeneration, protection and general energy. It is approximately 15% of the fats in your brain.

Phosphatidylserine can help to boost brain cell membranes energy via improving your brain’s glucose metabolism. It’s also a good supplement to take for an aging brain as your phosphatidylserine levels decline over time.

With 100mg of Phosphatidylserine in Neuriva, there’s a good amount here to give your brain a cognitive boost.

However, this appears to be the only ingredient in Neuriva which can help promote your cognitive levels.

Taking Neuriva Plus? Additional Ingredients: Vitamin B6, Folic Acid (B9) and B12

Neuriva Plus Ingredients

These are the ingredients to Neuriva Plus

If you’re taking Neuriva Plus, you get Neuriva Original formula of the Coffee Fruit Extract and Phosphatidylserine with the addition of Vitamin B6, B9 and B12.

This can help target homocysteine which is linked to brain degeneration, mood imbalance and cognitive decline.

You get a lot of B vitamins in a healthy diet already, however, supplementing more on top can help ensure optimum levels.

It’s a nice addition, but it’s not going to make this nootropic as competitive as some of the other options out there.

Neuriva Formula Ingredients Overview

To recap, there’s two (or potentially five if you’re considering Neuriva Plus):

  • Coffee Fruit Extract
  • Phosphatidylserine
  • Vitamin B6, B9 and B12 (in the ‘Plus’ version of Neuriva)

Out of these natural ingredients, the Phosphatidylserine and Vitamins B6, B9 and B12 are likely to be doing most of the work as they have been clinically proven natural ingredients with nootropic benefits.

Coffee Fruit Extract on the other hand has significantly less research to support it. There’s only one study for it, but it’s for Coffee Fruit concentrate, not an extract – so we’re unsure if you will get the same results.

That said, there’s still not enough ingredients in here to get the most benefit for focus, memory, learning, brain performance, general cognition and brain health.

Neuriva is not a powerful nootropic, there’s a lot of other natural ingredients which could help improve brain performance which is not in this product.

Good choices would be Citicoline which has been seen to help promote brain energy, Bacopa Monnieri which can support memory, L-Theanine which can help focus and alpha brainwaves, as well as Rhodiola Rosea which can help mood and feelings of well-being.

Any of these would be stronger supported options over Coffee Fruit Extract, and they have more proof for helping brain health and brain performance. Unless more evidence comes forward, these other brain supplements are much more effective.

Neuriva Side Effects

Neuriva Review: Side Effects

Will you experience side effects if you take Neuriva? We don’t think so, it appears very safe.

Neuriva may not be the strongest product as far as brain supplements go – but given the ingredients are so few and basic, it shouldn’t have any negative effects on your health.

You shouldn’t experience any negative side effects from taking Neuriva, however, you may not notice much benefit in terms of brain performance. There’s a lot of ingredients which are lacking in this nootropic which needs to be included if you want more of a boost for your brain cells.

The Coffee Fruit definitely needs more research before we can jump on the claims that it has been made about it.

That all said, we cannot outright say this is safe – everybody reacts to supplements differently – and this is not medical advice. If you have any concerns, you should speak to your doctor before using this nootropic.

Neuriva VS Prevagen

Neuriva and Prevagen are totally different nootropic stacks. The only similarity is that Prevagen has two ingredients just like Neuriva.

Prevagen contains Vitamin D3 and Apoaequorin which is a protein from jellyfish which is calcium binding. There are barely any human studies out there to support Apoaequorin for cognition.

Not only that Prevagen is more expensive on the price range. Neuriva is $32.99 whereas Prevagen is $39.99.

Despite all the negatives we’ve mentioned when it comes to Neuriva – we believe it is still the superior nootropics stack to Prevagen.

Neuriva Review and Supplement Complaints

Here are some of the more popular customer reviews and complaints that we have found written about Neuriva:

Neuriva Complaints: 4 out of 5 Stars

Boosts Energy, and then some (5 Stars)

All sorts of products on the market today claim to boost energy, increase brainpower, enhance focus, etc. This Neuriva supplement did all of those things for me, yesterday, when I took it for the third time.

The first two nights, I took it at bedtime (as the bottle recommends). And as a result, I had two very restless nights’ sleep — tossed and turned, could not relax. My brain wanted to stay “on.” The product says its decaffeinated, yet it contains coffee fruit extract a/k/a coffee arabica. If I even see the words “coffee” or “caffeine” after 3pm, I don’t get restful sleep at night.

So yesterday, I took this at lunchtime instead (since afternoon is when typically when I hit an energy slump). Within one hour I had more energy, more concentration. Felt no need for an afternoon nap, either. I actually got a lot accomplished because of it.

So if you take this, know it can offer some nice benefits. For me, it’s a daytime supplement instead a nighttime one.

It’s worth noting that this review was written by a Vine customer, who was given a free product by Amazon.

Plus there’s a lot of “kiss-ass” content that comes from Vine reviews, its believed by some that Vine reviewers give mainly glowing positive reviews to stay in Amazon’s good graces and to keep product moving – and so they can keep getting free product.

I’d take that review with a pinch of salt.

Let’s look at a more negative one:

Neuriva Reviews Complaints: 1 out of 5 Stars

Did not work for me! (1 Star)

Took for 30 days and there was no improvement with anything. You would probably be better off just taking fish oil. Don’t waste your money on this.

Whereas here’s a review of Neuriva from Canada:

Neuriva Shipping Complaints: Didn't refund brain supplement

Beware of seller (1 Star)

Beware of this seller and his return policy. This product doesn’t work at all. I ask for refund since i bought this but no response.

*This was from Canada not the United States

And here’s another disappointed customer who took it long-term and didn’t see it make their brain better:

Neuriva Experience Complaints

Wasted my money (1 Star)

Bought this twice – total of 3 months’ worth to give it a fair test. I saw absolutely no improvement in any of the areas it says it’s supposed to help. I was very hopeful and looked forward to good results but saw none. Very disappointed.

Neuriva Review Summary – Is it worth it?

In our opinion, Neuriva is not the best nootropic out there on the market. It only has two ingredients, with only one of them having considerable evidence to make it effective for mental performance.

It’s essentially a glorified Phosphatidylserine supplement. There are much better nootropic stacks out there on the market.

There are better options out there, things that contain Bacopa Monnieri, Citicholine, Rhodiola Rosea, L-Theanine and Lion’s Mane Mushroom are all good options – and cover numerous areas of cognitive enhancement.

Neuriva however, mainly covers memory. That said, the Coffee extract may do more – but more evidence is needed to see how effectively it can influence BDNF in extract form.

There’s definite room for improvement.

Neuriva FAQ: Post-Review Questions

There’s a lot of information in our Neuriva review, however, we still get questions about this nootropic.

Everything from more specific questions about the ingredients (like the Coffee extract), the product in general and how helpful it can be for mental performance.

Neuriva Plus

What is the difference between Neuriva VS Neuriva Plus?

Neuriva Original and Neuriva Plus have different ingredients and price points.

The original Neuriva contains only Phosphatidylserine and Coffee Fruit – whereas Neuriva Plus contains those ingredients as well as Vitamin B6, B9 and B12.

This does have some additional advantages – however, you should know that this comes at an additional cost.

The Plus version of Neuriva costs $49.49 a bottle, whereas the original formula is $32.99. It’s around $16.50 more expensive.

The thing you have to consider here is what’s stopping you getting a multivitamin instead to take alongside the original formula to both get the nootropic boost and more comprehensive health support?

Normally we wouldn’t recommend this with nootropics that contain a vitmain B complex, but considering the ‘improved’ version only contains Vitamin Bs and cost $16.50 – it may be more cost effective.

When does Neuriva start working?

Most natural nootropics take between 1 – 2 weeks before you start noticing real differences, however some people notice after the first couple of days.

With the effectiveness of Neuriva, we believe some of the effects may be placebo based. However, you may experience a boost in energy shortly after taking it due to the small amount of caffeine which be present in the coffee extract in this nootropic.

Is Neuriva any good for the brain?

The Phosphatidylserine in Neuriva may be good for the brain. It makes up around 15% of the fats that your brain has. It boosts the brain cell membrane energy via your glucose metabolism.

Not only that, it also has health benefits for the elderly too – as it your levels of Phosphatidylserine decline over time. Keeping them topped up can help keep you sharper.

However, we should note that there are plenty of other nootropics out there which contain this nutrient – with a lot more on offer. In our opinion, the phosphatidylserine angle is all this nootropic has going for it.

Is Neuriva Legit?

Neuriva is a legitimate supplement. It is made by Schiff Vitamins and can be bought in stores all over the United States. Schiff Vitamins have been around since 1936, and is one of the oldest health supplement brands in the country.

They own numerous supplement brands you may have heard of such as Airborne (Immune Support), Move Free (Joint Support), MegaRed (Heart and Health Care), Digestive Advantage (Digestive Support) and finally Neuriva – for mental performance.

What is the side effects of Neuriva?

It seems highly unlikely that it causes any side effects.

I have yet to see any official reports of Neuriva causing side effects when used. There’s only two ingredients in Neuriva, and they both don’t have links to causing severe side effects.

However, as we’ve mentioned, this is just our view – it is not medical advice. If you have any concerns you should speak to your doctor before using it.

Will Neuriva keep you awake?

There’s a possibility of it keeping you awake.

If you take Neuriva before bed, there’s a chance that it can keep you awake overnight.

The reasoning for this is that the Coffee Fruit may contain some level of caffeine – which is a stimulant.

Being a stimulant, caffeine can raise your energy levels which may not be ideal if you are taking it shortly before going to sleep. You’d be better to take this nootropic in the morning or early afternoon.

It’s a difficult one considering Neuriva suggest that you take it just before bed – which seems extremely counter-intuitive to the potential caffeine which may be in this nootropic.

Does Neuriva contain caffeine?

Neuriva may contain a small amount of caffeine. This nootropic contains a form of coffee extract, which may hold some level of the stimulant.

The result of this is that you may experience a mild boost in energy, and focus as a short term effect. Make sure you do not have any sensitivity or intolerance to caffeine or stimulants before having this supplement.

As we mentioned in the above question, for your own personal health we suggest that you do not have Neuriva before going to bed – aim for the morning or early afternoon when you have this supplement.

Does Neuriva Raise Blood Pressure?

If Neuriva does contain caffeine, there is a chance that it may raise your blood pressure temporarily.

Caffeine is a stimulant. When it enters your body it can increase your heart-rate, alertness and to some degree your blood pressure.

If you’re interested in Neuriva but have issues in that area, we strongly suggest you speak to a doctor before getting it.

Performance Lab Sleep Review: Ingredients, Side Effects & More

This is my Performance Lab Sleep review, which is now currently the only sleep aid that I now use.

In these reviews, I’ll walk you through the ingredients, side effects, my experience with Performance Lab Sleep, and why I still take it every day to fall asleep.

Performance Lab Sleep Aid Review

What is Performance Lab Sleep?

Performance Lab Sleep is an all natural sleep supplement with claims to help you:

  • Fall asleep faster
  • Deep sleep for longer
  • Relax your body, muscles and nerves for restful sleep
  • Have no morning grogginess

What makes Performance Lab Sleep more interesting than other sleep supplements is that it is arguably the cleanest products on the market. It is completely:

  • Plant based
  • Vegan-Friendly
  • Non-GMO
  • GMP-Certified
  • Synthetic-Free
  • Gluten-Free
  • Soy-Free
  • Allergen Friendly
  • No Banned Substances

As you can see, it’s very clean. Especially when you compare it to a lot of the cheap OTC (over the counter) options on the market.

Performance Lab Sleep Ingredients: What’s in there?

  • CherryPURE® Montmorency Tart cherry, 500 mg
  • TryptoPure® L-Tryptophan, 250 mg
  • Magnesium (Bisglycinate + Taurate + NutriGenesis®) 100 mg

Performance Lab Sleep Ingredients, Magnesium, Tart Cherry (Melatonin), L-Typtophan

There’s only three ingredients in this sleep supplement – and that appears to be all you need. Performance Lab have absolutely mastered this product with each ingredient in some way greatly boosting sleep quality.

Tart Cherry contains natural melatonin, L-Tryptophan works as a precursor for your body to make melatonin, and finally Magnesium can help reduce overnight twitches and relaxes your body for a better night’s sleep.

Below, we’ll look closer at the ingredients and how they work in this supplement.

CherryPURE® Montmorency Tart cherry, 500 mg

Montmorency Tart Cherry is a great addition to Performance Lab Sleep ingredients as it helps promote:

  • Natural Source of Melatonin
  • Faster Sleep
  • Reduces Disruptions
  • Regulates Circadian Rhythm (Better Sleep Cycle)

This is the best addition to this sleep aid, and it’s not even close. Montmorency Tart Cherry contains a natural source of melatonin – which is the sleep hormone your body needs to get a good night’s sleep.

Being natural, it’s easier for your body to take on and better supports sedating effects for faster onset sleep.

Not only that, stronger natural melatonin support can help fight blue-light distractions which can break melatonin supplies before bed. This all helps to support a better sleeping pattern too.

Montmorency Tart Cherry also contains anthocyanin antioxidants which can help with joint and muscle pains too after falling asleep.

Why Performance Lab Sleep’s tart cherry is better than regular melatonin supplements:

Huge doses of synthetic melatonin that you get in other supplements is entirely unnatural. Most of the time these options are cheaply made – and although they may have some effect, they can also cause problems like morning grogginess due to how steep the dosages are.

Performance Lab Sleep contains a 50:1 tart cherry extract which gives you the melatonin equivalent of 25g of tart cherries in a single serving.

TryptoPure® L-Tryptophan, 250 mg

The main benefits L-Tryptophan may support Lab Sleep review Performance ingredients by:

  • Fighting Stress and Mood Imbalances
  • Makes more Serotonin – Which promotes melatonin
  • Optimizing the Pineal Gland’s production of melatonin
  • Mood Support

L-Tryptophan is a great addition to any sleep supplement. It’s a great amino acid.

After you absorb L-Tryptophan, it helps convert into serotonin – which is promote mood, sleep and overall relaxation.

Not only that, serotonin is a precursor for your brain to turn into melatonin which converts in the GI tract. It also helps optimize your pineal gland which helps with the production of the sleep hormone.

Tryptophan can help improve mood, while also giving you a calmer mood which makes it easier to fall asleep around bedtime.

What’s better about Performance Lab Sleep’s 250 mg L-Tryptophan:

This sleep supplement uses TryptoPure in the formula which is totally gluten-free, non-GMO, and eco-friendly. It’s better for the environment and easier on your stomach.

Magnesium 100 mg (Bisglycinate + Taurate + NutriGenesis®)

Magnesium is a great addition to the Performance Lab Sleep ingredients, it supports:

  • Reduces night disturbances
  • Muscle relaxation
  • Faster sleep onset

Magnesium is a powerful sleep aid that is often underestimated. This is mainly due to many people having a magnesium deficiency – it’s estimated that 60% of adults may not get enough magnesium from their diet.

The advantage of magnesium is that can help to relax impulses across your body which helps to reduce overnight involuntary twitching. This stops you moving overnight and reduces restless sleep. It also helps to lower your blood pressure which helps faster onset sleep.

Why Performance Lab Sleep is different:

The magnesium in Performance Lab Sleep is made with magnesium bisglycinate and taurate. The bisglycinate is magnesium bound with glycine – which is an amino acid that gives better absorption in your body.

Magnesium Taurate is magnesium and taurine, it promotes GABA which is a brain chemical which relaxes and calms you for faster onset sleep. Magnesium L-Tryptophan in the same sleep supplement is a great combination.

If you want to find out more about the ingredients and formula in this supplement, you can find out more on the Performance Lab website below:

Performance Lab Sleep Side Effects – Is it safe?

Performance Lab Sleep’s ingredients are all natural and have not been linked to causing side effects. The ingredients are all backed by clinical trials and nothing dangerous has been noticed.

That said, no matter how much research there is you should not count this as medical advice. You should always talk to your doctor before you take a new supplement that you are unsure of. Especially if you are sensitive to sleep aids.

Performance Lab Sleep Review: How was my experience?

From my review Performance Lab have done an excellent job with Sleep. I ordered 3 boxes for $117.00 which included an extra free box along with free shipping, and I’m still taking it today for what I believe to better quality sleep. Shortly after I started running I re-ordered.

Sleep Review Performance Lab

My Background:

I sometimes experience sleep problems when I’m undergoing big projects at work – or super busy weeks. The stress definitely messes with my sleep patterns (waking up in the middle of the night, restless and struggling to get back to sleep).

I’ve tried several natural sleep aids like Alteril, but I came across Performance Lab Sleep, read some great reviews and decided to give it a try. The natural angle and the cleanliness of the Performance Labs supplements really appealed to me.

I wasn’t disappointed, it works incredibly well for me, especially during stressful periods. It eases my mind and allows me to sleep for as long as I please, along with great morning and days to follow.

Nootropics like Rhodolia Rosea and L-Theanine throughout the day I find also help the stress. I usually take a pre-made stack with my coffee in the morning.

Note: A nootropic is a cognitive enhancing supplement – I also write about those on this site.

How do I take it?

For the best sleep results I take one serving of two capsules a day, right around 30 minutes to an hour before going to bed. This is the recommended way to use it. If it’s a particularly stressful day I’ll take 4 capsules, but this is rare.

I use it on a daily basis, and find it gives me a healthy dose of sleep when I using Performance Lab Sleep consistently.

What benefits do I experience?

When I started taking these pills, I was curious to see how well they would work. The important thing was that I would get a good night’s sleep.

I wasn’t disappointed, I find that taking Performance Lab Sleep really gets me into a deeper sleep. Once I get to sleep, I don’t wake up until my alarm goes off.

I definitely feel a lot better during the morning too – no grogginess and it’s a lot easier to get out of bed first thing in the morning. It also helps to alleviate any anxiety I feel before getting out of bed for work, lulling me to stay in bed.

What did I not notice?

Getting to sleep faster. Although it’s an effective sleep aid – I find that Performance Lab Sleep doesn’t hit me incredibly hard when it comes to getting asleep. Don’t get me wrong, I can feel it helping me to get to sleep – which is a nice comfy drowsy feeling, that allows me to gently drift off.

That said, once it kicks in and you fall asleep – you sleep deep. It’s a powerful sleep aid. I find that I get a full night’s sleep, undisturbed and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Review Conclusion

If you’re in search of an effective sleep aid, Performance Lab Sleep is definitely an option I think you should try.

It is hands down the best natural sleep aid that I’ve used. If you’re anything like me, once it kicks in you’ll have a sound sleep and feel refreshed and motivated when you wake up in the morning.

Mind Lab Pro Ingredients

When it comes to the ingredients Mind Lab Pro has some of the most effective that we have seen in a nootropic stack. They all have the proper backing to make them worthy options for maximum brain support and performance.

However, if you buy Mind Lab Pro, and are taking the 2 capsules (or 4 capsules if you really want a wild ride) per day, we don’t advise taking any other nootropics with it.

It is a complete stack, if you’re taking Mind Lab Pro, you should add to it with the combination of your own research and discretion.

Now, let’s look closer at the product dosages, and how the supplements in this formula enhances your mind.

Citicoline 250 mg

What does Citicoline help in Mind Lab Pro?

  • Brain Energy
  • Mood
  • Memory
  • Attention
  • Concentration
  • Brain Circulation, Cell Regeneration and Maintenance

Citicoline is a brain-health nutrient which reviews as something with the potential to raise brain energy and performance without the use of stimulants.

It has also been seen to help mood, memory, focus, attention and general concentration.

Long term use is suggested to improve healthy brain brain function and fight mental decline.

It achieves all this via optimizing your brain’s neural electrical impulses and synthesizing phosphatidylcholine which is what’s found in brain cell membranes.

This brain energy plus the work it does with phopholipids could help with brain cell regeneration and repair. It’s a great addition to this nootropic for mental performance.

Unique Feature in Mind Lab Pro:

The Cognizin in the Mind Lab Pro ingredients, is not in most nootropic stacks. Human studies show that Citicoline as Cognizin can improve brain cell membrane formations by up to 26% while improving brain energy by 13.6%.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) 100 mg

What does Phosphatidylserine support in Mind Lab Pro?

  • Brain Protection, Cell Regeneration, and Chemical Maintenance
  • Brain Energy and Brain Chemistry
  • Memory
  • Slow Cognitive Decline
  • Mental Clarity
  • Reduce Stress and Anxiety

Phosphatidylserine is the only nootropic in Mind Lab Pro with an FDA qualified claim for lowering cognitive decline risks.

Studies show that it has the potential to help elderly subjects with brain degeneration, slowing memory loss and even helping with mood, anxiety and mental clarity.

Not only that, it makes up 15% of the fats in your brain. Supplementing it can help support brain cell energy by how it helps glucose metabolism.

There’s also some research reviews that shows it can help nerve growth factor (NGF) which helps brain cell creation and repair.

Long-term brain issues usually involve a depletion in Phosphatidylserine. Keeping it supplemented is a better way to keep your brain health.

Why Mind Lab Pro offers more:

Phosphatidylserine as Sharp PS Green is from sunflower lecithin. It’s soy-free, non-GMO, eco-friendly and the cleanest form of the nootropic.

Bacopa Monnieri 150 mg

Why do you want Bacopa Monnieri in Mind Lab Pro?

  • Brain Regeneration
  • Neuroprotective
  • Supports Brain Cells and Chemicals
  • Memory Support
  • Promotes Relaxation
  • Fights Stress
  • Optimizes Cognition

One of the better nootropic supplement options that Mind Lab Pro contains is Bacopa Monnieri. It’s one of the best in a nootropic stack.

It’s main benefit is memory. Bacopa Monneiri has been seen to help with learning and new memory retention.

Bacopa has been seen in study reviews to help the human brain slow the forgetting of new knowledge. It could also help mental processing and cognition under stress.

This all comes down to the active bacosides in the nootropic, which are antioxidants which help brain antioxidants via Bacopa Monnieri.

This is stuff like superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) which helps protect your brain from age-related factors.

It also has benefits which can help brain chemistry like acetylcholine, GABA and serotonin which can help you feel good and think clearly.

Why Mind Lab Pro offers more:

Mindlab Pro contains full-spectrum Bacopa Monnieri standardized for 24% bacosides to supply 9 nootropic bioactives – which has been seen to help enhance recall memory and learning in clinical research.

Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom 500 mg

Ways Lion’s Mane Mushroom may help in Mind Lab Pro:

  • Brain Regeneration
  • Brain Protection
  • Overall Brain Health
  • Nerve Growth Factor (NGF)
  • Brain Plasticity
  • Brain Cell Replication and Membrane Function
  • Mood Balance
  • Fight Cognitive Impairment

Lion’s Mane Mushroom (or Hericium erinaceus) reviews as another good option for brain health from Mind Lab Pro.

There’s lots of evidence that shows Lion’s Mane to be effective. Double-blind placebo-controlled trials show that it can help with cognition improvements in adults between the ages of 50 – 80 with cognitive decline. It’s also been seen to help mood balance too.

This is all down to the nootropic’s hericenones and erinacines – which may help stimulate Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) production in your brain. This can help neural regeneration, and myelin nerve sheath synthesis.

Once your Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) is optimized, you get much better brain plasticity for storing new memories and overall learning.

Mind Lab Pro’s unique advantage:

The Lion’s Mane in here is full-spectrum. It has all the active parts that help promote brainpower such as the hericenones and erinacines – great with these ingredients.

Maritime Pine Bark Extract 75 mg

Potential advantages from Maritime Pine Bark in Mind Lab Pro:

  • Brain Energy
  • Circulation, Regeneration and Protection of your Brain
  • Better Brain Blood Flow
  • Mental Energy
  • Attention
  • Learning
  • Short-Term Focus
  • Memory
  • Mental Clarity
  • General Brain Health

Maritime Pine Bark extract contains proanthocyanidin antioxidants which can help neutralise toxic free radicals in your brain.

In short it helps to cut down on bad elements in your brain.

These proanthocyanidins also help to improve your levels of nitric oxide which helps overall blood flow to your brain which improves oxygen and glucose – which your brain uses to function.

These additional ingredient to this nootropic stack may help mental energy, attention, learning and a lot of short term cognitive benefits – as well as improving overall brain health long term.

Why Mind Lab Pro’s Maritime Pine Bark stands out:

It is standardized for 95% active proanthocyanidins at a minimum. This makes it among the most potent on the market.

L-Tyrosine 175 mg

Methods L-Tyrosine may support brain health in Mind Lab Pro:

  • Brain Protection
  • Brain Chemistry
  • Working Memory
  • Mental Performance
  • Helps against High Stress
  • Fights Fatigue

One of the better nootropic amino acids out there. Your brain can use this amino acid to make catecholamine neurotransmitters – which your brain uses for memory, mood and general processing.

This can help raise feel good hormones in our system like dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

These can all fight brain stress and general issues you can get from being under pressure.

The main human research reviews shows that L-Tyrosine can help with memory while multitasking or under high pressure from stress or fatigue.

It can also help general cognitive performance by how it can help with attention and focus.

What does Mind Lab Pro do differently?

MLP chooses N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NALT) which is much easier for your brain to absorb and use as opposed to the usual Tyrosine.

L-Theanine 100 mg

Why L-Theanine is a good pick for Mind Lab Pro:

  • Brain Waves
  • Brain Chemistry and Protection
  • Relaxation
  • Creativity
  • Problem Solving
  • Reduce Stimulant Jitters

Usually one of the first nootropics picked in stacks for most people. Why? Because of how well this amino acid handles stimulants like caffeine.

It helps to increase the levels of calming hormones in your brain like GABA, serotonin and dopamine – which can help to mitigate the jittery effects of stimulants like caffeine. L-Theanine can also do this by increasing alpha brainwaves which give your more wakeful relaxation.

In doing so it allows you to stay calm and focused while the stimulant energizes you. As an added bonus it may also help promote brain neurons from additional damage and maintains mental clarity with the aging process.

Most people use L-Theanine for studying and solving creative tasks. It’s probably the most effective natural option for this.

Why Mind Lab Pro’s L-Theanine is different:

Savvy nootropic stackers prefer the MLP L-Theanine because it uses Suntheanine in the ingredients which is guaranteed to be 100% pure L-Theanine and the best form of this amino acid.

Rhodiola Rosea 50 mg

This Scandinavian herb may help Mind Lab Pro with:

  • Neuroprotective Qualities
  • Better Brain Energy
  • Optimize Brain Chemicals
  • Resists Stress
  • Promotes Calmness
  • Aids Mental Processing

This nootropic is more focused on mood. Rhodiola Rosea helps your body fight stress and can kick in as soon as 30 minutes after taking it and can last up to 6 hours.

The benefit is that it may help boost norepinephrine, serotonin and dopamine – which helps you feel good and fight your body’s release of stress hormones.

This all helps you perform better under mentally demanding conditions. It can help promote your feelings of well-being and reduce fatigue when the pressure is on in a hot situation.

How Mind Lab Pro offers more:

In this nootropic Rhodiola Rosea 3% MINIMUM rosavins and 1% salidrosides ensures that you get a good amount of active nootropics in this herb which boosts resistance to stress.

Vitamin B6 2.5 mg, Vitamin B9 100 mcg and Vitamin B12 7.5 mcg

An effective Vitamin B complex in Mind Lab Pro can help promote:

  • Brain Regeneration
  • Brain Circulation
  • Neural Protection
  • Brain Chemistry
  • Cognitive Performance
  • Fights Cognitive Decline
  • Mood Balance
  • Mental Energy
  • General Health

B6, B9 and B12 are all good options when it comes to brain longevity in a nootropic stack.

Why? Because they help homocysteine metabolism which supports its overall regulation.

When your homocysteine levels run high and you don’t have a good supply of B vitamins you can run the risk of mood imbalance, cognitive decline and faster brain degredation over time.

Giving yourself an additional supply of B vitamins can help restore balance and a healthier environment for your brain.

How does Mind Lab Pro do B6, B9 and B12 differently?

Mind Lab Pro uses nature-identical B vitamins which are grown in cultures to ensure you get the most body-friendly, easy to absorb version of these vitamins. It’s a geat addition to these ingredients.

Cheap multivitamins usually cause problems by being overtly synthetic which makes it much harder for your body to absorb.

Mind Lab Pro Side Effects: Is it safe?

Mind Lab Pro is extremely safe to use. Few users report of any side effects whatsoever while taking Mind Lab Pro. Reported side effects, which are rare, are usually very mild – Bacopa Monnieri has been reported to cause mild bloating in some cases.

Mind Lab Pro Review: What was My Experience?

For my Mind Lab Pro review, I purchased the 3 month’s supply for $195.00. This was actually worked out as a 4 month’s supply as it includes one extra free bottle – I’m actually still taking it today. Shipping was also free, fast and came in just a few days.

I typically take it once a day, 2 capsules in the morning with one strong coffee. I started to really experience the benefits around 2 weeks into taking this supplement.

  • How does it boost my work?

There are several areas which I noticed significant improvements after taking Mind Lab Pro: focus, mood, communication and motivation.

Focus and Motivation: I spend a lot of my time working in an office, with my biggest issues being procastrination and getting distracted. With Mind Lab Pro I feel I can sit in the office and grind out work a lot longer than normal, with no staring into space or clicking around online. I feel like I work for longer, and thoughts and ideas come to me a lot quicker.

Mood and Communication: Another factor that I feel has improved dramatically is my communication skills. There’s less ‘umming’ and ‘erring’ and more confidence in getting my points across. This is great for work when collaborating on projects.

  • How does it help my general life?

These improvements in my work do fortunately spill over into my lifestyle. I’m more organized and focus. I make more time to pursue my hobbies, and feel generally more motivated to seize the day.

I’m going the gym more often, more actively playing chess, and recently started bouldering – things I didn’t think I had enough time for during a work week. However, the additional motivation helps me make that time, getting up earlier and generally streamlining my day-to-day duties.

  • Would I recommend it?

Absolutely. The ingredients in Mind Lab Pro easily make it my number one pre-made stack. I’ve built my own stacks in the past, but not only does this cut out the management of buying everything in – it’s also higher quality.

Since my first package I have reordered another 3 month’s supply of Mind Lab Pro, and will continue to do so as long as I keep seeing these awesome results!
